The Quantum Hall Effect in Low-dimensional Solid State Structures

In this work is considered Quantum Hall Effect, which represents macroscopic quantum effect. This effect is observable in low-dimensional solid state structures. For observing Quantum Hall Effect low-dimensional nanostructures metal-oxide-semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET) fabricated on the bases of Si and GaAs-AlGaAs hetero-junctions were used. Abovementioned structures were used for studying importance of Integer Quantum Hall Effect as a measuring method of physical properties of material and its application in metrology.
